Which Sagrada Família ticket fits you

Most people should buy the plain entry ticket with the audio guide. Add a tower only if you want the view and can handle heights. Pick a guided tour if you want the story told by a person.

Here is each choice next to the official price for one adult.

Sagrada Família: official prices and the prices here
What you wantOfficial site (adult)Here, from
Entry with audio guide€26€34 (free cancellation)
Entry and a tower€36€34 plus the tower option
Entry with a guide€30€54
Guide and a tower€40€55 plus the tower option

Entry ticket with audio guide: who it is for

The entry ticket suits most first-time visitors. You walk the basilica at your own pace with the audio guide app.

The app is for ages 11 and up. Bring a charged phone and headphones, because they are not included.

Basilica de la Sagrada Família tickets: what entry includes

Entry covers the basilica and the audio guide app. A tower is extra.

You enter at your time slot or up to 15 minutes after it. The last slot of the day gives you only 45 minutes inside.

Staff check bags at the door and may ask for ID. Tickets are personal, and you cannot bring drinks inside.

Tower ticket: Nativity or Passion tower, and who should skip it

A tower adds €10 to the official adult price. Pick the tower by the facade you want to see. Both the Nativity and the Passion tower are options on the entry ticket and on the Walks tour.

Skip the tower if you have trouble walking. Tower access is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Sagrada Família tickets with tower access

You go up by lift. Sellers say children under 6 cannot go up, so check when you book.

Towers sell out first, so book them as soon as your dates are fixed.

Guided tour with skip-the-line entry: who it is for

A Sagrada Família tour with a guide is worth it if you want the meaning behind the stone. A guide explains the symbols, the facades and the light.

Be honest about the price. The official guided ticket costs €30, and tours here start at €54. If the official guided ticket is still free for your date, it is the cheaper choice.

Guided Sagrada Família tour: our picks

For English and a fair price, take the licensed guide tour from €54. For a small group, take the 4 YOU BARCELONA tour, with groups of up to 10. For a private group, look at the MónGaudí or the tour guy options.

Sagrada Família tour guide or audio guide?

The audio guide is cheaper and lets you set your own pace. A tour guide can answer your questions. Families with young kids often do better with the app, because they can stop at any time.

What skip-the-line tickets at Sagrada Família skip

A skip-the-line ticket skips the ticket line, not the security check. Everyone goes through security.

One seller says this may take up to 25 minutes in high season. Another says 20 to 30 minutes.

Compare the tickets: price, length, cancellation

The cheapest way inside is the official entry for €26. Here, the entry ticket is from €34 and adds free cancellation.

Guided tours here cost from €54 to €80 and last about 1.5 hours. The "Decoded" tour from €15 stays outside unless you pick the interior option.

Can you buy at the door, and how far ahead to book

Plan to buy online. Ticket sellers report that there is no sale at the door, and we found no ticket office on the official site.

We found no official date when time slots go on sale. Book as soon as your dates are fixed. Towers go first.

Buying Sagrada Família tickets online

The official site is the cheapest place to buy. Book here if you want free cancellation or a guide.

Groups of 10 or more must book by email with an accredited guide. The official site charges groups under 10 for at least 10 people.

What to know before you go: dress code, time slot, kids, access

Dress with care, because the basilica has a dress code. Skirts and shorts must reach at least mid-thigh. No see-through clothes, swimwear or bare feet. Take off your hat in the nave and the museum.

Since 2 February 2026, 9 to 10 am is a quiet hour for prayer. Visits go on, but audio plays only through earphones.

Children under 11 get in free. Getting there by metro is in our transport guide.

Add the other Gaudí tickets

Many visitors pair the basilica with Casa Batlló, Park Güell or La Pedrera. Each has its own timed tickets, and the Gaudí tours add a guide.

The Walks tour above can add a Casa Batlló ticket to your Sagrada Família visit. For the city beyond Gaudí, see more city tours.

Tips for Sagrada Família tickets

  1. The official site is cheaper

Entry costs €26 on the official site and from €34 here. Book here for free cancellation or a guide.

  2. If your plans change

All eight picks had free cancellation when we checked. Read the time limit on the booking page before you pay.

  3. Arrive early for security

Every visitor goes through a bag check, even with a skip-the-line ticket. Sellers say it can take 20 to 30 minutes in high season.

  4. Bring your phone and headphones

The audio guide runs on your own phone. Charge it and bring headphones.
