Is the Barcelona Card worth it?

Only if you use a lot of transport and many museums. In the 2026 Barcelona Travel Cost Study, the 72-hour Barcelona Card cost €55 for an adult on 25 October 2026. With three days of transport valued at €36 in day passes, it pays off once the entries it covers are worth more than €19.

The card gives public transport and free entry to museums and cultural sites, plus discounts. Articket, at €38 for six art museums, is the simpler buy if you only want art.

The Hola Barcelona card is a transport pass only. Metro fares are in our transport guide.

Concerts and Palau de la Música
